Load capacity is the weight a truck can carry. CFT is its loading space in cubic feet. Short run means city, local and milk-run trips; long run means intercity and long-haul routes.

How to choose
Pick a load capacity above your load weight. Heavy, dense goods like steel, tyres or cement fill the weight limit before the space.
Light, bulky goods like cartons, furniture or e-commerce parcels fill the space first. Check the CFT, not just the load capacity.
Short-run trucks are suited to city and local trips with frequent stops. Long-run trucks are suited to intercity and long-haul routes.
Closed containers protect goods from rain and theft. Flat beds suit machinery, coils and long items loaded by crane. Scooter bodies carry two-wheelers safely.
